How to reach the DeadPixel team — bug reports, device quirks, warranty-policy updates and fix results welcome.

Email is the reliable channel:

hello@tolerence.net

We read everything. To get the fastest useful answer, match your message to one of these:

  • Tester bugs — a color that doesn’t fill the screen, controls that misbehave, a device where fullscreen won’t engage. Include the page URL, your browser + OS, and what happened versus what you expected.
  • Device quirks — a TV, tablet or handheld where the test or exerciser behaves oddly. Model names and OS versions help us reproduce it.
  • Warranty-policy updates — pixel policies change by line and region. If the warranty guide is stale or wrong for your brand, send the current policy link and we’ll fix the article.
  • Fix results — did the exerciser unstick your pixel? How long did it take? Real outcomes sharpen the advice in the fix-methods review.

Before you write

If you’re asking “is this dot dead or stuck?” — run the tester first and tell us what it shows on white and on black; that’s usually the whole diagnosis, and the dead vs. stuck guide walks the same two-minute routine we’d ask you to do anyway.

A screenshot of a solid color rarely helps — a photo of the panel at normal brightness, with the dot roughly circled, shows us exactly what you see. For “the test won’t go fullscreen” reports, tell us whether another browser behaves the same way on the same device; that splits website bugs from platform quirks quickly. And if a guide reads wrong or dated, quote the line — corrections get the fastest turnaround.

What we can’t do

We can’t RMA your panel, argue a warranty claim with the manufacturer, or remotely diagnose faults beyond “run the colors and describe the dot” — the warranty guide exists so you can quote the right policy terms at the vendor yourself, and anything past the color test needs hands on the hardware.

Replies go to the address you wrote from. There’s no ticket system, so a subject line like “dead pixel test on iPad” or “warranty table wrong for LG” genuinely speeds things up.
